WelcomeGarstang Table Tennis Club was established in 2001, and is now one of the North West's most successful clubs. The club has four teams in the Lancaster & Morecambe League and two teams in the Preston League, players from the club also play for various town teams, in the British League, and in many other competitions. The club also now hosts, and has teams in both the National Junior League and National Cadet League
April 2015 saw a major change for the club with the opening of a "Regional Training Centre" based at Garstang Community Academy, the Centre operates three evenings per week Mon - Wed with junior players of all abilities from all over the North West of England attending the sessions, Thursday evening is reserved as a Garstang training evening.
There are four main squads at the Centre, the "Elite" squad who train on a Tuesday evening from 7-00pm till 9-00pm, the "Advanced" squad who train Wednesday 7-30pm till 9-00pm and the "Improving" squad who train on Wed from 6-00pm till 7-30pm, the final squad are the "Future's" squad who train in the other available timeslots at the Centre, the Future's Squad are mainly promising primary school age players who work in smaller groups with the coaches.
All coaching sessions at the club are now limited to either invited players or players who have expressed an interest in attending, and have undertaken a trial.
