Success for Megan and Alice
Posted by Graham on 12th November 2012Sisters Megan and Alice Dillon had a superb day at the Blackpool 1 Star Tournament on Sunday, in the morning Megan won the Cadet Girls event, whilst Alice was busy claiming the Under 11’s Girls title. The afternoon saw Megan win yet another title this time the Under 13’s Girls event.

Another trophy for Amy
Posted by Graham on 5th November 2012Amy Wells has had a great start to her final season as a junior, on Sunday she won the junior girls event at the 2 Star tournament in Halifax, this win followed another tournament victory the week before when she claimed the junior girls title at the Blackpool 2 Star. On Saturday she was in action at Garstang in the National Junior League playing for Garstang A, the team finished the day in third place in the table.
This weekend sees Amy in action again, this time at Derby playing for Lancashire alongside another Garstang player Kelly Southward.

First win for Garstang B
Posted by Graham on 22nd October 2012In the Lancaster & Morecambe league Garstang B claimed their first win in the Premier Division with a 25-9 victory over Lancaster B, Amy Wells won all three of her matches in her first outing for the team, Dave Holroyd added two more, victory in the doubles and a win for Jim Vasey completed a successful evening.
